  Overall the coffee was good and reasonably priced, as was the sangria. The atmosphere is fun, but most of the chairs and tables are fairly uncomfortable and difficult for studying (which is why we went). It was packed on a Saturday afternoon and was difficult to find a place to sit. They offer a small parking lot, which was full the entire time we were there, so we had to opt for street parking a few blocks away. Overall, not a bad experience, but nothing to write home about.

  My first time here was disturbing. I loved the location, and the atmosphere however, I found out by the manager that this is not a place to come and study like a Starbucks establishment. They made me purchase at least a water in order to stay because "I was taking up a table (wasn't a table) and using the free wifi" (there was a girl at the front who was taking up a 4 seated table with no food or beverage in sight and she was there when I walked in, and plenty of others without beverages too) The bartender actually offered nicely if I wanted a beverage but only because the manager asked him too. I felt very offended and unwanted and embarrassed to say the least and will not come back. No wonder he is stressed about "affording his establishment." But, if you want to come have some drinks, by all means it's a cool/odd change of atmosphere. I can see why the reviews are high which is why I wanted to come.

  Without a doubt, this is a very unique place. There is a Classical Greek theme that pulls together the decor, the name, and some of the food items. The biggest sell is the atmosphere. A juke box sets the mood and even plays some songs randomly every half hour or so. Delicious coffee along with a variety of sweet and savory pastries. Some coffee drinks even come with a little lemon butter type cookie that is scrumptious!!!!! Bathrooms are spacious and clean. Be prepared for a crowd, this place is popular! Might be a bit difficult during rush times to find a spot but not for lack of seating! An upstairs, big ground floor space, and outside patio is filled with an eclectic assortment of chairs and tables. With the aged wood floors, giant visages of Greek philosophers, and the smell of rich coffee permeating everything, Agora is a must see!
