  We discovered this restaurant about 2 years ago. As I'm posting this review I noticed the average rating is 4, which is hard to believe. The food is ALWAYS delicious. If you go you have to try the egg rolls. They are always plump large and delicious. My personal favorite is the "Zesty chicken". I believe the main flavor is ginger, but what ever is is you have to try it. The wait staff is basically run by a "main waiter" with assistance by others to make sure your lesser needs are attended to. My wife claims they have the BEST "hot and sour" soup she has ever had. We highly recommend this restaurant!

  Great tasting food. Ordered General Tsoa Chicken and shrimp fried rice. The shrimp was done perfectly and the chicken was very tender and flavorful. Some of the best Chinese food I had in years.

  My husband and I have been eating at Mencius for over 25 years and have never had a bad experience. Our favorite waiter knows just what we like and occasionally we surprise him by choosing something different.
  Cindy and Horace are wonderful!
  We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting quality Chinese food and great service.
